Would you like to learn how to market your business, increase revenue and enhance your management skills? 如果是这样的话, register today for the Small Business 领导 Academy, presented in partnership by 考克斯 Communications and Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business. This year’s class runs from Tuesday, June 4 until Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
The nine-week program provides attendees education and strategies to help grow their small business. Participants will develop skills critical for growth and be introduced to additional resources that can create new opportunities while interacting with 考克斯 and Strome Business subject matter experts.
供应商 and business representatives admitted to the Small Business 领导 Academy will be eligible to receive a scholarship to cover 100 percent of the tuition of the program, 考克斯提供. Participation requirements include:
- Existing for-profit business with a Federal Employer Identification Number
- Open to all businesses and vendors, with priority given to registered 考克斯 Communications vendors and 考克斯 Business customers.
- 女性, LGBTQA, disabled, veteran and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
Topics include marketing and digital marketing, 谈判, emotional intelligence, 会计, tax and business plan review and will be led by faculty from the college, including Andrew Bennett, 瑞安科林格, Michelle Carpenter, Sam Johnson and Jennifer Vaziralli. Professor Anil Nair serves as the director of the program.
